Ancient Greek Web-quest:
Today we are going on an exciting adventure...
Jump into the MILA TIME MACHINE and dial the controls for ANCIENT GREECE!
1.) Get out a sheet of paper and put your name (first and last), today's date, and your SS block # on the top right hand corner.
2.) Click on the link below to learn about some of the ancient Greek Tales of Terror! Read about five different terrible, fire breathing, people eating monsters and the Greek heroes who battled them! After you read each story, summarize who the story was about and what happened. Make sure you include a summary of all five stories!

4.) Let's learn about Greek Mythology! Click on the link below. Re-create the 9 box chart on your paper and in each box, tell something you learned about the God or Goddess from that box.
5.) The Ancient Greeks created the Olympic Games! Click on the link below to learn more about the original Olympics. As you scroll through the links, answer the following questions on your paper:

b. List the six original Olympic events and explain each one.
c. What did the winners receive and how many people won each event?
d. Why weren't women allowed to watch the original Olympics (hint - you have to scroll to the end to find out!)
